What is art without you? (2008)

The installation What is art without you? was the central work in the exhibition at Hedah, Maastricht (NL). By using a contour drawing of light an imaginary space is created. By passing an open space on the floor you can enter this space. The out- line of the exhibition space therefore becomes the frame of the work. A LCD screen with video hangs in this imaginary space showing images of the same room. Although the spectator physically is present in this room it doesn't exist in this re-presentation.
